Default single 10W1 in a reg cab S10

I'm looking at putting this sub, some JL C5 components and JL amp in a reg cab 2000 S10 and NOT lose any leg room. The components and amp will be easy enough but the sub looks to be a different story.

The only pre-fabbed box I've seen is made by Q-logic and all accounts say you will definitely lose leg room with it as it mounts behind the driver seat. The best way I can see doing it is putting it in the center. The trucks got the bucket seats and flip down console.

Is there a box made to put it in the center? Or one that doesn't limit the seat from going all the way back?

Why is it a waste???? I save plenty, am single, no kids, all my bills are paid, both vehicles paid off, so why not?

Plus I'm geting the parts pretty much at or below cost. I might have 500 in the entire system. Deck included.....

Picking up my SS seats this week, and the new PI converter and tru-trac at the end of the week... The big trucks not being neglected.

You said when you were thinking about buying that truck you weren't going to do **** to it. Knowing you, I think you should just leave your DD alone and put some $$$ in savings. And I wouldn't say no kids either LOL...

You know of some kids out there of mine???

Anyway... The few things I've done and plan on doing in no way affect the daily drivability of the truck. Like I already stated, I save, handle my business, and have two trucks paid for, and two classic motorcycles as well.

I work 85+ hours a week, I feel like I can do pretty much what I want with it, I spend anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours a day in this thing, might as well have good tunes to listen to while I'm there..

That being said
Does anone know of a box for a single 10, that won't kill my legroom?????

I had a custom built box with a Treo SSI 10 in mine and i didnt loose much if any leg room. I think the box was 8" deep at the biggest part, But all that chit was stolen. I would have a box built in place of the center console and put something a little bigger in it. I am putting 1 JL 10W7 in my RCSB.

Here is a link to a box i seen awhile back.
