Relay for fuel pump
#1
I used a 30amp relay for my main fuel pump. It's 10ga from the battery to the relay, 10ga power to the pump and both the pump and relay have 10ga wire and the stock fuel pump wire to trigger the relay. Well it stopped working and this is what I found

Would a 40amp be better for my fuel needs?

Wow that is crazy. I would go over all your wiring, wait just redo all that fuel pump wiring. Something shorted somewhere. I would not just throw a bigger relay in there since the first one bit the dust especially since all that is connected to a fuel tank full of gas unless you have a death wish.
Was that relay and connector a waterproof one with a sealed connector?
