Default Power Seat to Heated Seat

As of right now, I have a power drivers seat and a manual pass seat, drivers is the basic power cloth that you can only adjust the bottom part of the seat..

I will be shortly picking up a set of power leather seats (i think from an SSS) that have all the options, power bottom,back,lumbar,heat,memory,etc..

Has anyone ever done a swap like this or know of any problems ill run into? id like to make it all work like factory including the heat and memory.

and for the pass side is the harness already under the seat?

Thanks

don't quote me but from what iv read,
you will need new door panels, with wiring for the heat and memory buttons.
new wiring for the seats, since reg cabs didn't ahve the option it most likely isn't their.
And your BCM will have to be reflashed.
So i've heard.

I have he same trim level as you when it comes to the seats. I work at a chevy dealership and a while back I was inquiring about upgrading to some nice leather seats like the ones you're talking about, so I talked with a technician that I'm pretty good friends with. According to him, it's basically like was stated above: new harnesses, new door panels. But the tricky part was the BCM. It needs to be either reprogrammed or a new one installed that will accept the new door module that has all the extras inside. I really don't know about the reflashing to a diff. vin, that might do it too, but I cant confirm that it'll work. Idk what route you'll take, but when you get it working, could you tell us what all you had to go through? I might use my hook ups to get some cheap seats
