Default Playstation 2 installation help

I looking to install a PS2 in the Yukon, and have a question?

How do I hook the power source up permanentley? Without a converter or a lighter plug adapter?

Is there a cable to buy, if so, Where?

Thanks

i just hooked up a 8 guage power wire to one of the stubs on the fuse box under the driver side dash(not the one on the side) i found one that turned off when my truck did, but there are some that stay on if thats what you want. than i ran it back th a inverter and just plug in the ps2 and play.

So, you still used the inverter? You just hooked the inverter up "hot"?

I just didn't want to waste the money on a inverter. I figured there was a easier way.

Thanks

i dont think there is another way because of the 12 volts to 110 volts difference. my 2 plug inverter was only like $30 i think, but you can get one with just 1 plug in for like $15 , but im not sure.
