Default Pics of my new radio

Here are some pics of my new head-unit and mounting plate. The head-unit is an Alpine CDA-9853 with the new glide-touch (new to me). Hope you guys like it, ill try and take some pics tonite-the silverado has blue leds behind it as does the HVAC. I also installed sirius-I put the modulator box is behind the glove box.

Mounting kit

I got here online-moregrip discovered it a while ago. Pretty nice mount although I had to do some serious trimming in order to make the alpine hu fit.

So their kit has the head unit sit flush against the plate rather than recessed into the dash a bit??

yes the hu sits flush against the plate-so it sticks out a bit.

thanks sikchevy-i dont know if you will have to, but i had to trim about .5" of the hu opening to fit my hu. Best of luck you wont be dissappointed.
