Curious on that and what did you do to change the color of your instrument cluster. I'm wanting to do something where mine will be the bright, clean white like the new Corvette guages. The LED 194 style bulbs I got from Superbright LED's came out a light blue and seem to actually be dimmer than the stockers.

The dimming function still works but is barely noticable-I used the 194 bulbs and twistlocks from superbright in the cluster; however, in the HVAC i had to use some 5mm led bulbs and solder in several resistors. I also am looking for a brighter led for the cluster because they are kinda dim- ill look around and if i find something ill let you know.

How did you get the such an even lighting on your controls. I did mine and I got hot spots (bright areas).

i used six leds in the top part of the HVAC-I still have subtle "hot spots" but not as bad as when i had only 4 leds in it. 1slow-i havent even looked into the light controls or 4 wheel drive controls yet, hopefully i will next weekend. Kinda hard to solder when im in college. If im confident with my work afterwards i would glady give you a qoute. Pm me in a week or two. CBrich-which bulds did you buy.

The LED I used come from SuperBrightLEDs.com. I also used blue, 5mm and 3mm, and for the push button I removed the stock orange LED and installed white LED. The four wheel drive button is fairly simply but you have to desolder the connection pins, I also had to do alittle trimming on the light diffuser. As for the light control I have a bad hot spot, not much can be done because of the hole size. Next time I tear back into my A/C controller I will try 6 LED or maybe 8.
