Default Need help. No bass.

I have a 99 Silverado RC. So a while back my speaker in my tube blew, so i bought a new one. At the same time i guess the amp died. I bought a new sub bazooka 10" DVC and a Sound Ordnance M-2250 amp. I also replaced the power and ground wires. At first i thought it was a bad amp and CRutchfield sent me a another one. Then I thought it might have been the headunit, Pioneer deh-9400 bh. Tried a new one with no result. replaced the RCA cables and still no luck. The amp has power and I have checked all the connections a hundred times. Anyone have any sugestions?

That's new too. It's a real small gauge wire. Could that be a problem? It came with the kit.

Does the sub makes a low noise/moves when you unplug the rca cable from the amp? If it does then the amp and sub are ok,some pioneer headunits have the sub output off from factory, try going to settings and make sure its on.

have you checked the connections at the amp with a DMM? Make sure you're getting AC voltage through your RCA's or line level inputs (whatever is sending signal). That sounds like what the problem is if the amp is turning on and no sound coming out.

Also check to make sure you filters are set correctly on the radio and amp. if the radio is set to HPF and the amp to LPF you wont get any sound either provided the frequencies don't cross.

I just went out and double checked the settings. There fine. Checked all connections and there good too. I don't get any noise when I unplug or plug in the rca's though. That's why I thought it might have been the head unit. When I got the first amp it came on briefly and as soon as I turned up the gain i lost all sound. When I got the replacement it didn't do anything from the start. It's a simple setup. Radio powers the speakers and the sub powers the tube. I'm at a loss.

I pretty sure there should be a low noise when you unplug the rca on the amp, have you tested the sub with an ohm meter?
