Got the hard mount that mounts to the Rear View mirror for the Valentine One and hard wired it. Came out clean

Yeah I came across that on Amazon and just had to have, and for 30 bucks you can't beat it

Nice set up! What did you hard wire it too? The powered mirror or what?

How well does the V1 cover your backside? Like when a cop turns from a street and ends up behind you

I have a switch in the over head console that operates the sliding rear window, I tapped into a yellow wire the was keyed on 12v power

It does very well, you can tell when you pass them if you watch the arrows. I have had it pick them up coming up from behind me far enough I couldn't see them for a few minutes till they finally caught up.

The ONE time I did not pay attention to the rear "Beep" I got pulled over. It has saved me at least 50 times. It does what it says well and I swear by it.
