Anyone running this unit. I just bought one and haven't hooked it up yet, just wanting some info too look forward too when I get it installed. Will this unit play the dvd while driving, if not can it be bypassed, any cool features to look for? Any advice will be appreciated, thanks.

I have the DDX7015. I'm sure it's pretty much the same setup as mine. Just ground the green wire and you can watch DVD's on the road.

 

Got everything put in today, sounds awesome, using M-class memphis oversize 6.5's in all four corners, a probox single ported 10', with a punch 500a pushing a memphis "soul" 10. Sound is great, still haven't figured out all the different things that this radio can do, I have sirius hooked up, but still trying to figure out if the radio has any differet screes savers, and what all it will do. This is a good head unit. I have grown to really like my DDX-7017.

I would suggest a Audio Control line driver as the HU has a 2v pre out. Other than that, this HU rocks.
