I bought mine from a friend who owns a custom truck business locally, I think I paid around 700 for it and an extra 100 for the Sirius, and 20 for the wire harness.

Is there any support at the rear of that head unit? Or does it rely on the metal chassis to keep in stable and intact? What does the screen look like when you are listening to a Sirius channel?

The unit fits in very tight, but only uses the metal housing to support it. It does not have a kit that is made for a direct fit into the dash, the install directions are for the console of GM vehicles. I just used thin headed screws and mounted the metal housing directly to the dash supports inside the dash. It has about 7-10 backgrounds, or you can load jpeg, or whatever files you want for the background, and while watching sirius it scrolls across the bottom what is playing, title and artist, and channel and displays the touchscreen options. I had XM in my previous truck, and by far I like the sirius much better. Howard Stern radio is the most entertaining station I have ever heard.

Compared to my past HU's, this one is by far the best. I don't really notice any difference from my past HU's as far as the 2v outputs, I have had a couple pioneer premier's and one alpine, all of which were top of the line or close too for their time. I wanted something loud and very clear, not a ton of bass, but something that sounded great with all kinds of music. I am very happy with this setup, the only thing I do not like is if you use the touchscreen it leaves the screen dirty no matter how clean your hands are, but cleans off easily, just looks bad.
