go to sotelectronics dot com

get their contact info, call them, they are VERY reasonable with the pricing and there is options for mileage verification, that way everything will be done and over with.

They did mine, I live in Louisiana.... they are in Ca., like you, shouldn't be an issue.

the DIC with the mileage on the cluster is seperate from the trucks computer and the bcm

k..i installed it and it was pretty easy to my amazement. the only thing was that i had to figure out that i had to put the gear all the way down to number 1 for the panel to come off. now i know how fast i'm going and it feels like i'm driving a new truck. the cluster i bought had only a few miles on it. i think i'm going to paint the panel now that i know how easy it is to remove. again, thanks for all your help guys

they problably quoted you for putting a remanufactured cluster in. we cant set the miles at the dealership, we have to send it out to our electronics place- in NJ GM dealers send it to model electronics- and they dont just program the miles- they also reman them when they have them, thats why it gets expensive.
