Help with engine noise

Default Help with engine noise

i just re-did the system in the truck and now i have some killer engine noise and a loud clipping noise everytime i either change the radio station or insert a cd. any help with fixing this problem would be great.

I had some engine noise in mine. I turned down the gain on the amps and it took it out.

Check your amp grounds and also check to make sure that you ran power wire and RCA's down separate sides of the truck and cross them at 90 degree angles when necessary. Unless you don't have amps, then forget what I said

i will try turning down the gains and hopefully it helps. i have two amps and i will double check the grounds. any suggestions on the clipping noise?

Grounds most likely. Do what Thunder said and your problems should be fixed.
