Default headlight problem..please help

my battery ran out of juice last night and my buddy jump started me after that my driver side headlight would not turn on. So i checked my fuses, checked the bulb then the ballast(there HID's) and everything seemed fine. So i turned them back on and nothing. then i switched the buld to the working side(pass side) and it worked so then i switched the ballast and again it worked on the other side. so its just the driver side thats not turning on Im kind of out of ideas on what it could be if you guys have any ideas on what it could be please let me know. they already pulled over once and gave me a verbal warning

i put hid's in my 04 i would suggest stepping up to a 20 amp fuse. the stock hids use a 20 amp i blew 8 10's and 2 15's when i first got the hid's i now have 20's for close to 6 months and love them, ill never go back to halogens again.
