Default gauges and pillar pod

alright guys I want to put a dual pillar pod in my truck and a couple of gauges. where could I get a dual pillar pod from and what would be some good gauges to put in there. I was thinking trans temp and fuel/air ratio and how hard are those to intall.

The Pods are sold by Stylin, summit and many others.
The gauges you install, really depend on what your plans are. If you just want the gauges for looks then a trans and A/F ratio gauge would be good, if you want them for safty for performance, I'd get a WB a/f, and maybe one of the gauges than can scan PID's or fuel pressure gauge. again it really depends on mods. you can alwas get a cluster with the trans temp.

What are your plans? Any neccessity for gauges, or just looking to add some. I would suggest the interceptor scan gauge regaurdless, it looks great and can show somewhere around 20-25 different readings. You could also look at a fuel pressure gauge, wideband like mentioned above, or a tranny temp gauge if you do not want to swap out your cluster.

I am running Autometer Phantom fuel and boost gauges. Both are full electric gauges and work well.

I got my dual pod from Jegs, cost me at the time $46, know it's up to $56.

As for the gauges go with electric gauges not mechanical, the gauges you are looking at will cost $50-60.
Checkout Autometer's site for more information and part numbers.

Tranny temp sensor installs in the side of the tranny, port already there. The A/F gauges will tap in your O2 sensor but a pigtail will make it a lot easier.

He was saying get electrical guages as apposed to mechanical. Using electrical guages you just run a wire from a sender to the guage, you dont have to fight with capilaries and stuff.
