To share a little incite from my 03+ center console install, the dark grey 03 console is just a shade or two lighter than my 2000's charcoal dash pieces. I had the jump seat with the fold down cup holders in the dash and that center section housing the cup holders, ashtray and power ports has to be trimmed off of the glove box for the 03+ console to fit to the dash. The driver side knee bolster has to be trimmed slightly also. If you bend the metal brackets up that fit over the seat studs it will help fill the gap under the bezel but it is still noticeable. A 03+ bezel comes down lower in that section helping to cover this gap.

HAHA damn. I saw that one last night and had the thought of grabbing it and painting it black.

 

I was bidding on one on ebay. A nice tan escalade one that would fit my interior perfect but someone outbidded me and I don't feel like bidding any higher

yep. got it the other night. complete front to back nothing missing. even has sub and what nots. $100 wasn't goin to pass on it. just have to dye the sides and paint the top and she's good to go
