Default Escalade Gauges Seem too dim?

I've had my Esky gauges in for about 20k miles now and the lights just seem to be getting dimmer. You can barely see that there on during a cloudy day and are not really too bright at night either. Any cure or remedy for this? I know LEDs would make it really bright but that makes you lose the dimmer function doesn't it? Now that I have a triple pillar pod set up they seem even dimmer than before.

Definetly not the switch, even checked it when I installed my boost control switch under the cargo lamp button.
Maybe there is a slightly higher wattage bulb that would work in the cluster????

Check the voltage coming off the dimmer switch. I would suspect it before I would the cluster. Its basically a rheostat. Ov when off and 12v when wide open. Anything less than 12v at full bright check the incoming voltage. If its at 12v and cant get 12v off the other end your dimmer switch is bad.

Thanks for the advise, I have to replace the arming switch for my boost controller anyway, this will be a good time to check voltage.
