I have a 2003 silverado and my cluster stopped working I have a buddies old duramax cluster is my garage can I just plug and play that b**ch into my truck or is it probably just easier to replace my lights and stepper motors?

 

Was the Dmax a diesel?

yes plug and play, swapped a 1500 cluster in my 04 duramax while i replaced the stepper motors and updated the back lighting. so it should swap both directions. i just no longer had the glow plug light.

 

it will work but the rpm only goes up to 5000 and the oil pressure gauge is different.
