so heres the question i have a 2003 ccsb with a LB7 thats totally done i got offered a 2008 duramax ltz that was in a wreck has bent frame and all but drivetrain is all good was wondering if it would fit and work in my 03?

 

If it's a complete donor it'll be doable, but they changed everything from both BCM and ECM perspectives between 03 and 08, so you'll have to meticulously swap every electronic bit and gizmo.
