NBS door panels are removed by removing the door lock lever and removing the screw behind. Then remove the screw at the armrest. Pull off the plastic panel at the mirror and door handle then lift up on the on the panel. Then disconnect the electrics.
I just installed a set of Alpine Type S. They came with an adapter for the 5.25's. Lay down some dynamat then have to drill 4 holes to mount the adapter, the speakers then bolt into it. I removed the factory tweeter and put the alpine tweeter there. The crossover I mounted into the well at the bottom of the door.
Good luck.

All I can say is take your time. I got in a hurry and half assed one of my speakers and now it rattles over every bump, and its like 5 degrees out so no way in hell im fixing it.
And then if u need to run new wires to the door run them through the gromet, wire harness thingy that the wires to PW/PL/PM goes to. I dunno how else you would run wires to a door but just a heads up i guess.
