Dome light problems

Default Dome light problems

my dome light wont turn off. i have to keep the over ride button on to keep it off all the time. its been like this for about a year now, and i miss it coming on and off by itself.

anythoughts? where is the switch on the door located?

Yes, I know what the problem is, as I had the same problem with mine. The courtesy switch is located in the lock/latch assy, it's probably filled with corrosion. On mine, it was the driver's side that went bad, I'll bet you're having the same problem. The latch comes as an assembly with the switch in it.
