ok so my wife thought it would be sweet to get me "remote start" for my truck.

Ok so she bought me the remote start key fob, when i got i snickered cuz i didnt think it was that easy. so i did remote relean and the remote works for locking an unlocking and when i press the start button the light turn on like its supposed to but doesnt start. What needs to be done......

 

you have to click the "lock" button twice and honk the horn, then press and hold the 'start' button for 5 seconds.

 

Scroll thru the DIC, check to see if Remote start is ON/OFF

 

It is an add-on. Like $80 I believe but don't quote me.

 

Buying a Key fob will only work if you have the AP3 RPO code. If you have AP8, a dealer installed package will need to be purchase to change your settings to a AP3 operating system. Kit is cheap, under $300 installed, comes with 2 fobs.

 

need to make a camp fire do an indian dance around the fire then wiggle ur arms like a chicken five times break dance around the fire drink a a cold budlight and that should do the trick broom!! broom!!!
