Default DIY Starter disabling on 03?

I've got a 19 year old stepson that I think has been sneaking my truck out a time or 2 late at night (but have no proof)and might have made a key made, so how can I disable the starter on my 03 hd 6 liter auto without pulling the relay under the hood every night?

Talk to me guys! because I don't want to go to jail for his stupidity lol!

Try mobilistics.com, They have remote stater and /or fuel pump relays. They work really well. The relay will automatically dis-arm when you turn the ignition off, then you have to re-arm with a key fob tthat gives you 30 seconds to start the vehicle. My ingnition relay and fob were about $70.00 shipped to my door from OKC.

My dad got me long ago by tying the door switch to the horn. He hid the switch under the fender. Right down the mileage everynight when ur done for the night..

I've seen cop shows where they set up car thieves by letting them steal the car, then as they drive away, the doors lock and the car shuts off...that could be cool

install cut-outs and leave'em open when you shut it down for the night....your wife will know who's not driving

If you bought tuning software you could easily flash a "valet" tune too, you know like 5pmh max speed or 1000 rpm fuel cutoff

I wouldn't think wiring a hidden ignition switch too difficult if you're somewhat inclined.

Install a relay in the starter circuit. Wire it up so the slider switch on the cruise control has to be in the on position and then when you hold the speed set button down it closes the relay and allows you to crank the truck. If the slider is in the off position he can try to crank it all day and nothings going to happen. Wont start even if he does press the speed set button. When the set button is pressed and the cruise on off slider is in the on position it sends out 12 v to actuate the relay coil with..
