Default Collecting Pieces =D

So my most recent setup got stolen =/ That setup was a Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD, 2 Kicker CVR 12's with a Performance Teknique 2400watt amp, a targa 1000.4 watt high amp Infinity reference front components and soundstream component 4x6s in the back. (sub par =/) Soo after i got the insurance check and started saving i planned out my new setup and here is what i have so far. let me know if you guys have any comments or suggestions as i will be starting a build thread here in the next month or so, whenever i order the last of my wire.

Here is what i have so far, this is going in an 06 Silvy Extended cab

Front stage is
Focal 6.5" Polyglass 165 V30
Focal 6.5" K2 Powers

Rear Stage
The Infinity references that were in my front doors

Also have 6.5" door subs (not really sure of the brand but they are hefty as hell) Not really sure what im going to use them for.

Subwoofers
4x DC Audio LVL 2 8's

Amplification:
2x DC Audio 1.2K For subwoofers
Zapco DC360.4 For front Doors (probably going active crossover on one set of focals and passive on the other, not sure yet)
Zapco DC1100.1 (not using this anymore, PM me if you wanna buy it)
Zapco DC200.2 Probably going to be used for those gnarly door subs or the other set of focals, havent quite Decided...

Source
Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD

Wire
Knuconceptz 1/0 Ga Kolossus Fleks Cable
Knuconceptz 4 Ga
Knuconceptz Twisted pair speakers wire in various thicknesses for all the speakers

Power
200 amp alt
dual batteries with diesel mount

Security
Viper 5901 W/ Smart Start

As i said, im still in the collecting parts phase, let me know if there is anything i should pick up to help this project along. Trying to stay with an SQ setup for the highs/mids and SP setup for the lows. Still gotta build my box, going to do a seatlift in back, probably about 3 inches, gonna try and get just under 4 cubes under there after displacements, going to be ported.

As i said if there are any other bits of input on things i should get or any suggestions let me know, also, as i said, PM me if you wanna buy that DC1100.1 I was going to use it for my subs, but decided to go with the DC 1.2ks instead. I would do 1 dc 2.0k but i decided to leave myself some grow room in case i wanted to step up to like, lvl 4 12s or something like that.

Looks like you have quite a build coming up. You won't have trouble pushing 4 8"'s with 2400 watts. At least you'll have room to grow!

try closer to 4k watts... the DC amps are seriously under rated, i know the owner of dc audio, (rusty) and he recently clamped all of his amps to see true wattage. at 12.5 volts the 1.2s push over 1800 rms each. i also know someone with 5 of the same 8s as me pushting 2k each to them daily and hasnt fried a single one yet. quality shiat =D

If you do raise your backseat please post pictures because I'm going to be putting some subs in my EC and am trying to figure out what I'm going to do under the seat. I am thinking about a couple FI subs and will have to raise the seat to get proper room for them. I need plenty pictures to see exactly how to do it. I don't think I'll need to raise mine 4" just 2"

first off, already spent the coin on the focals, (got them for a steal) and rainbows are SOOO nice, i wanted to get a set of component 3 ways, but setting them up and tuning them is a ton of work, and theyre expensive, so i will just rock the focals.
and about the seat lift, its very simple to accomplish, just cut out a piece of square tubing in the size you want to lift the seat, drill holes through it, weld bolts through one of the holes for studs, then bolt the box tube to the floor, and seat to the tube, then extend the little hanger brackets on the back of the seat the same amount, its real easy, if you dont extend the back hanger brackets it will make it so the seat folds forwards too, just like the crew cabs... hope this helps
