Default Blowing Headlight Bulbs

I've got an '04 Sierra that has an addiction to blowing left side low beam bulbs, and only this bulb. I used to use APC HID Simulation bulbs, no luck, tried some $60 PIAA bulbs... blown those... which hurt my feeling! Anyone else have this problem or know how to cure it?

are you making sure to not touch the glass of the bulb while changing it?

tard! LOL I seem to remember all us talking about this a year ago or so. About how it was a Chevy Full Size signature, the left one out. I can't find the thread. But I thought the fix was a different bulb maybe. I am still looking.

Try putting a lot of dielectric grease in the socket.

you didn't do the high beam in the low beam spot mod did you? mine use to do this in my silverado one even exploded. then put the normal low beam back in and it worked. but the other side had the high beam in it all the time and worked great.
