Default Battery Relocation

Yes I know this has been beat to death.... I have an idea of how i want to do it.... mounting and wire and all that is no problem, although i have a question about making it all come together.

Where under the hood did you guys hook up the hot wire from the relocated battery? I hear some people tie into the factory 12v+ at the terminal, and even the +12v block on the driver side of the engine. How would you do this?

Next is ground! Do i ground the relocated battery to the frame and just ground the old neg cable under the hood?

Pics of your wiring under the hood would be a great help!

i mounted my battery in the bed most say to put it under the bed but i cant cause of my exhaust.

my ground wire is on the e-brake cable bracket right next to the hanger so yes its grounded to the frame.

as far as the power wire i just ran it strait to the distrubution block on the drivers side works like a charm.

I didn't know this had been beat to death, but I guess I never noticed before, altho I had thought of doin this. I hate to drill into my bed, but I'd like to go to track & pass tech w/. ease.

1 thing to consider is if u relocate, heavy ga. wiring has some weight to it as well, & all the way back to bed will add more in. Just a thought.

I planned to ground right to the frame. Never even thought of what to do w/. old (-) cable under hood.

Post pics if u do this.

the old ground cable that went to the battery just remove it and get one that runs from the side of the engine block to the frame that will ground the motor. thats how i did mine works awsome
