f-ing wireing need help

Default f-ing wireing need help

well i got some 2007 chevy e-fans on my 2001 gmc an i have always had problems with the wireing harness.. i 1st got he nelson performance wireing harnees for the fans an one of the relays melted down so i said **** let me try black bears wire ing harness an today my truck got over heated an check the fans an they were of so i look an the relays an same problem, one of the relays melted down,,, i am just wanna get them to work good btw i only had like 4 months with the harness.... can u guys help me

First of all u need to know the amperage of both fans and make sure your relays and wire size will handle that amperage, most of the time when **** burns up its because wire size or it improperly wired to the relay, maybe someone on here can give u a schematic on wire size per amps.... gl

So what do i change to a more apm relay an biger wire ? Cuz it melting were it hooks up to one of the relays

well find out how many amps per fan first, i had two fans and both of them were on a single 30 amp relay, 10 gauge wire should be good for this..... this is what i used maybe someone else can chime in
