looking at swapping out the old bulbs in my dash (02 silverado) to leds. the only problem i'm running into is the bulbs for the cluster, i have the twist lock style so i was just thinking about getting the direct replacement ones from superbrightleds.com but i dont know if there any good or if they will make hot spots...as well as what ones will fit...if anyone has any suggestions or info it would really helpful

 

really...no one knows anything about the superbrightled.com dash lights?????????????????

 

Almost a month later, I can help. The lights from that site are fine. I think the ones I used were 6 bulb? The twist locks are kinda expensive though. My 79 Olds's dash is chock full of the same twist locks. If you can get to a wrecking yard I'm sure you could scrounge up pounds of the twist locks for near free.

the bulbs will pull out of your twist lock so far ive found anything 96 newer you can reuse anything 96 and prior have them soldered in. Im waiting on a ton of leds to arrive I can do cluster sets hvacs full int packages etc

 

from what i saw with mine it does not look like i can re use my twist locks but i hav a friend that said he can get a fist full of them for me so that is no longer a concern but thanks
