Default Help me pick an amp, '06 rcsb

I'm a total newbie on audio stuff, my door speakers are shot so time to upgrade. I'm looking at Infinity Kappa's & Alpine type R for doors and rear pillars, any other brand/model?

Don't have a clue on what amp I need, but cost is important.

I'll run it with the stock deck at first, will get a replacement once money allows.

I don't plan to get a subwoofer.

any good 4 channel will work, check out Best Buy on all your needs, have good door speakers and 4 channel amps.

Infinity Kappa sound nice a crisp, with a good quality 4 channel amp. I had 3 Component Kappas and an extra set of tweets in the pillars, my 4 channel JL Slash 450/5 only pushed 2 sets of components and the tweets and it was still loud as hell
Once you change he head unit it will make a big difference

The alpine Type-R 6.5 components are really nice, just make sure to use a baffle screwed to the door, then use a good sound deadener over that. you wat a very solid mount for the speakers for the best midbass/bass output of your speakers (since you don't want to add a sub). As for the amp, I would suggest the alpine pdx amp, or even their MRX series (if you don't want to spend as much money as the PDX's cost).

I just put in an all around great sounding cost effective system in my truck. I went with a single Kicker Comp vr 12" sub so I bought a 5 channel Power Acoustik gt5-2500. It was less than $200 shipped and is working out well. Went with a JVC KW-AV 60 BT screen, sound stream batt cell, and used pioneer 3-way replacement components. Very pleased and have including having custom box built, wiring, etc bout $1000 total. No complaints. All kinds of music sound good from rap to country. Sorry to high jack. Try the power Acoustik or boss amps. Best bang for the buck IMO.
