Default Adding Bose to non-Bose

I just bought a center console with the bose subwoofer and was wondering if it would be possible to incorporate it into my non-Bose equipped regular cab? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

From what I've heard, it is a major pita! I was going to go that route, but decided to go with an Alpine head unit, and small Bazooka Bass Tube. It worked out real well, because with a reg. cab, there's not much room to mount stuff behind the seats. I think the Bose stuff only works with other Bose stuff, some how.

IMO its not worth it.. Going to need Bose headunit.. Bose Amp, Bose Door Speakers.. The sub probably has an impedence of 16ohms or something crazy.. Bose is notorious for stuff like that..

yeah, it sounds like it.

I haven't got to look at it yet, but is there anything that would work in its place. Something I could just swap it with that would work with my stock stereo. I dont know much about stereo stuff, so any help would be appreciated.

Upgrading to factory Bose would be like upgrading a factory 5.3 exhaust to a 6.0 exhaust.

I does not make alot of sense.

Get a decent "stealth" type box with a real sub and amp combo.

Dont waste you time and money with Bose.

Check out jl audio they have some stealth boxes if thats what ur looking for or you could just go with a small behind the seat box. Depends on what kind of sound you are looking for. Either way ditch the factory head unit pioneer is going to give you the best controls over the sound of your system.
