Default "add a fuse" Interceptor???

If I want to put the interceprtor scangauge on a Littlefuse "add a fuse" in the fuse block behind the dash, which would be a 12volt switched fuse.

I have a base model 1500 with no power locks or windows if that makes a difference.

Any help is appreciated.

Get a test light and check you fuses use the ignition switch. If the light is on when the ignition is off you might have a +12V all the time or you need to lift the door handle.

Can you do that with no fuse in there? I was hoping to use an available spot since my truck does not have many options and it is so close to the power wire.

Thanks

I guess I need the littlefuse mini pack, I bought the othe one and none of the fuses work.

I have a 4wd fuse in mine and mine is 2wd, would that be a good one to try?

i also bought a test light and tried it on every open fuse under the dash with key on and off and never got a light. I think I am doing something wrong, any ideas?

All right, i admit I am an idiot but I bought the add a fuse, found a 12 volt switched source, and connected the white wire to it and the gauge still does not work. Anyone with one of these gauges, please help, I am driving myself crazy!!

Make sure the OBD2 is pluged in all the way. It is a tight fit.

I had a problem with mine too. Had to send it back. Replacement on the way. I tried that 4wd fuse once and my cluster did some wacky ****. Moved to a switched 12 down under the dash by the park brake. Power wire on my cable is red though.

Now I have found that I am getting voltage. The gauge will come on for about 1 to 2 minutes and go back off. If I hit a bump or tap on the screen it will run for a little while. Or if i am scanning through the gauge, as long as I hold the button it will run..

I planned on trying to contact them today, you don't happen to have the number or e-mail address do you? I can't use outlook at work.
