Default 2002 silverado stereo install

I have a 2002 silvy that I need a new stereo for. I'm just wantin to put a single din unit in but I'm tryin to find a good install kit. Soche sells one but it bulges out of the dash a long ways and looks stupid. Anybody know of an install kit that just sits flush?

Metra sells one that is flush behind the dash panel. I dont like the Scosche stuff because it is usually a universal kit that fits like 50 different vehicles. Get a kit specifically for your dash (such as the Metra one) and it will look alot better.

This is the one I would recommend and the one I have in my truck. It just slides in and snaps the same way the factory radio does.

Definitely get a Metra! They have the best install kits around IMO.
I had one in my old truck for 6+years. I went through about 8 different sound systems and had that kit in/out 100 times. Scosche is a POS...
