Where are all the SRT-10 owners at????

Howdy! I see that there are a few of us trickling over here from the SRT forum.
I love performance vehicles of all makes and looking at your signatures there are a lot of them here. There are some very interesting and creative combinations - very cool.
There were some questions about stock SRT-10 performance. Stock SRT owners are posting everything from low 13s on up to mid 14s. The 6 spds are hard to launch and run consistant numbers but are a whole lot of fun. The QCs are easier to launch but need a reflash to improve shifting to even start approaching their potential. A couple of stocker RCs are flirting with 12s if the track is sticky enough and they don't need their clutches to get home. I've only heard of one with 60 ft. times under 2.0 seconds but there are probably more. There are a few 18" wheels that will clear our rear brakes so we can run a big Nitto DR but it's hard to get them hot enough to do much good without a line lock.
We do hear a lot about how expensive these trucks are and how people can go faster for less money. That's true. But one thing to keep in mind is that these trucks are not built to just go fast in a straight line. They are all around performers. They pull 0.9gs on a skid pad, they are at home on mountain twisties, 0 to 60 times range from 4.9 to 5.5 seconds, top speed is over 155 mph, 500 hp with a relatively mild tune (there's a whole lot more in there), awesome interior with great leather seats, impressive ride quality, 500 watt factory stereo w/ 10" subwoofer, it's a complete package. If you want to build a dedicated drag racer you can drop all kinds of tonnage, lose the 15"/14" brakes, swap the 90 lbs each 22" wheels for a light weight drag wheel and tire, etc., etc., but that would be sacrificing many of the things that make this truck so much fun to drive.
Okay, so much for the Dodge cheerleading. I have to give props to all of you for some very cool trucks and hope to contribute and learn on this forum. I live within miles of STS Turbos and know full well that I can never take anyone for granted. There are a lot of really fast trucks and SUVs running around here whistling out their tailpipes. All the more fun! They are working the bugs out of a turbo kit for the SRT. Maybe I'll be able to whistle along with everyone soon.
