does that intercooler mount up next to the radiator or between the framerails? if its up with the radiator, will it fit with an enlarged trans cooler?

 

i think you'd have to mount the "larger trans cooler" on the outside of the IC, so you would actually have to make new mounting tabs for the trans cooler.

this is just a guess, but im pretty sure it could work.

Tru-Cool 40k think it'd work with that?

 

What yr make model are these kits for?

 

Mounts between the frame rails. Earlier 99-02 have NO room infront of the the grill.. 03-06 has more, but its tight. 07+ have tons of room.


As long as the trans cooler was inside the A frame on the core support or .5" thick it will all fit in the 07+ trucks.

NON intercooled kits fits 99-11. Inter cooler options as priced fit the 99-06 truck.

 

thanks for that info, looks like the intercooler would fit behind the grille of the 07+.

 

Sorry the outlets are aim rearward. 07+ needs the outlets aimed out the sides.
