The last I heard on my Corvette forum is that the passenger died but the driver will live (and most likely be charged with manslaughter). Sad deal.

And bad thing is the driver of the truck probably didnt see him comming up and switched lanes onto the car!!! 2 buddies out having fun made a mad dash, driver/owner showing off a new mod to his buddie, now his buddie cant tell the story of what the mod done to the car

 

I hate seeing **** like this but it's a solid reminder of how quick your life can change.

 

Things like that make me glad I drive my truck. Sure it would still be a horrible accident, but the chances of me and my passengers surviving would be much higher than that little fiberglass vette.
