I just have to vent here. My everyday vehicle has, of course, been my 87 cutlass ciera since my truck has been getting worked on. Most people on the road don't give these vehicles a second glance. I get these looks from people(especially younger people)....almost as if they're thinking "look at that white trash". These are the same young people that don't have a dime to their name and have to rely on their mommy and daddy to pay their brand new Z71 notes. When the same F-ing people see me in my truck, it's like they know me or something. Waving and just overall "allowing" me into their world. WTF?!?!?! So I'm trash because I bought a cheap car that I have to fill up with low octane gas once every two weeks, but cool if I drive a newer model vehicle? They don't even know I have a truck at home that has more money dumped into it than twice as much as theirs cost new. They just "assume" I'm a poor white trash guy that makes no money and has to drive ****.

Now that I think about it, there are a ton of stereotypes that revolve around what someone drives. I think we are finally starting to break the "all rednecks/hillbillies drive trucks to mudride, pull their house, carry their dog, or are just farmers, etc). It's about damn time!!!! Now if I can just show people that not all guys that drive 87 Olds are poor white trash or old people.

It's especially sad when a person I don't even know(especially some dumb *** rich girl) is caught by me laughing and pointing with her best buddy at my car because her rich *** parents just bought her a new Nissan, etc.

I just throw this at them and leave them in a cloud of Olds smoke.

 

And yes an example of this happened today, which is why it sparked me to speak on it..........

 

well damn man my first truck was a 73 ford F-100 standard cab long long bed. and i got the **** ragged out of me about it to.

Sweet truck! I had an 83 Ford F-250 diesel standard cab long bed 4x4. It was rust(literally) and grey, but I loved that truck!!! Best 300,000 miles I've ever driven.

BTW...we're going to put you ahead of Eli real soon. I told him last night he was going down hard!!!!

my first truck was a multi colored 66 f100 that looked like hell except it had centerline convo wheels on it. I got that got reactions like that when I was in that truck, little did the little punks know it had big block under the hood and could smoke their new shinny trucks,mustangs,camoro's,ect.
