it can't be that difficult? It's basic electronics...what did the shop try, if anything?

fixed it today!!! i ended up putting a push start switch on the starter from the battery to the starter and now i can start it whenever i want. now for some reason my headlights dont work. i tried to check the fuses but now i cant figure out what fuse it is. i looked all over the fuse box on the side of the dash and under the hood but i cant find it. anybody know what its labeled as?

their are two fuses, one for the right and one for the left
in the fuse box under the hood.
both should be red with a 20 on top.
your starting to make me think that the main switch
on the steering column needs to be replaced.

Neutral safety switch, ignition switch or relay is the culprit. If you can bypass all that and it starts fine then it's gotta be one of those. It really can't be that difficult to pin point.
