exactly. and it is really a good one when it was an older Z06 vette and he had to look at the tailgate of an extended cab that just beat him. i mean it is the most priceless moment.a 5000lb 30,000$ just beat my $50,000 vette.

i really think most vette guys think since they are in a really nice car, that is supposed to be fast, they can run as fast as the advertised speed. I know I was pretty disappointed when I couldn't get my Zo6 into the 12's because of wheel spin. It took me several runs to get a launch down and hit a 12.6. I never could hit the advertized 12.4 on street tires. A good hooking, auto truck should kill most powerful cars on the street for a good 1\8 mile. I just switched to the M\H Drag radials on my Silverado..with 30 psi they still hook great. It would be very hard for a typical vette on street tires to hang with me from down low.
HERE IS A VID ON STREET TIRES 32 PSI, you can hears the spin and it hits the rev limiter about 3 times. Vid is from 26 mph to 100+ http://s160.photobucket.com/albums/t...idesNewCam.flv
VID ON M & H DRAG RADIALS WITH 30 PSI , a dab of spin, never hits the limiter.... just hooks and goes. Vid is from 26 mph to 80 http://s160.photobucket.com/albums/t...=Speedo-MH.flv
