very true... it puts the whole drivetrain in a bind.. one side is trying to turn faster than the other and your transfer case usually wounds up bein the weak point!!!!

ok i was thinking and 4.10s help with the low end but it hurts top. but 3.73s is a happy medium and with the stall it will have all the low end i need. how much do you think a gear change is going to cost.

I went from 3.73's to 4.10's and couldnt be hppier. Being a 4wd with taller (than 2wd's) tires, Id say 4.10's. The milage difference isnt noticeable, in fact I think I may be getting a hair better with teh 4.10s than the 3.73s. Its more than just ratio
In my 98 I went from 3.42's to 4.56's and my milage went WAY up. The engine didnt work nearly as hard. Besides with the converter youre gonna loose the milage in town anyway. The difference in RPM cruising is only a couple hundrwed RPM at 75 or so. That isnt gonna matter much and youll like the 4.10's better anyway

Mine will still do 156 (speed limiter set in HPtuners) and pulls hard all the way there
