well i want 3.73s cause of gas mileage but i also want 4.10s im torn between those. i want the 3000 but i dont know i think the 3000 wont pop the trans as fast.

You got access to the money.......buy a built tranny and save all the trouble.

 

touche!! save yourself the pain of tearing your trans up and having to get it towed in then gettin someone to build you one to hold up.... buy a built trans from someone now so you dont have any down-time

 

i have a 3400 converter, transgo, 100k stock trans, and a 28000 cooler and it's holding strong maybe i'm a freak but the engine isnt near stock either and i have 4.10 gears out back

im thinking about getting 4.10s i get about 20 to 24 mpg on the highway and 16 to 18 in town. how bad do you think my gas mileage will be with 4.10s
