ok so most you guys know im an Ace on blowing **** up..well Oct 10th my trans blew and i took it to some guys that build high performance motors and trannys..(well i thought so) so it took them over a month to build it..kept on givin me excuses that it will be done tomorrow, call em the next day and said it will be done the next day..i get alot of that ****, well when i finally got it but in, in the first of december it ran 5 days till it took a **** on me, called em up and they told me to bring the truck done to them so i did..this was december 16th , they told me it was goings to be done a 4 weeks ago and then said it will be done the next week and then the next week and then the next week....so finally they got it put in tuesday and got it running wedseday morning and told me its ready and that i can come and get it..then they call me back and said that they test drove it and that its not making enough pressure in 3rd gear and they was going to mess with some more..so i call them back in the after noon and hes not even there..so i call em today and they say that they are going to have to pull it back apart..i was so ******* pissed off..not like i havent been in the past 3 months..but gawd damn how ******* hard is it to build a ******* transmission..ive been nice them and very patient and havent said nothing hatefull, i know these guys ive tuned some of their cars, these guys are 70 miles away in OKC..what should i do..

sorry i just have to get this off my chest..now im off to the liquor store, i drank the last of my yager and vodka last night because i was so ****** pissed...now im even more pissed..i plan on bein fucked up and passed out by 8 just less time i have to worry about it

 

is it a 60e or 80e

if you could afford it id get a FLT level5 65e/level4 80e

take a truck and trailer to their shop and tell them you want your truck back and put an flt in it and forget about the problems ( hopefully)

 

its a 4l60..i got the trans and converter for 2000 bucks..if they cant get it goin after this time im gonna say take your **** outta the trans and give me my trans and money back..i cant afford to take aloss on this..im payin the back right now for this trans

 

Sounds like some of the **** I went though on steroids. My builder would take about a week per swap. He finally told me that he couldn't afford to keep rebuilding them under warranty, and gave me all my $$ back. I took the broken trans to him and dropped it off and he handed me a check. I hope something like that works out for you too...

 

TELL HIM TO REFUND YOUR DAMN MONEY!!! THAT ******* LONG!!! to build a tranny? haha id be askin for a rental car or some ****. And for 2000? ALL hard parts fora tranny can be had for around 600-800 at the most, that your average builder can get their hands on.

Id be chewin some *** and 2000 is rediculous. I paid 975 for a 4l60e rebuild with all hard parts! He is warranting my 5.3l with a 125 shot and The Wood Haulers 408 both exact same 4l65e's for 6 months for 975!!! He is in searcy arkansas. If you want more info on him let me know!

 

man ill keep you in mind..another thing that gets me..he had another guy from another shop that builds these trannys come over and just check and make sure everything was going ok

 

dude if they are in a shop 2 days taken your time to build if everything is their

I would put pressure on them, don't let them take advantage of you. If I was in your position I would have lost my temper within the first few days, much less several months....
