What the hell is the point of shots/vaccines

Sorry just had to say it... I'm sure I had some vaccinations when I was young, but I can't remember the last time I got any kind of vaccine other than a tetanus shot (not rabies) after getting cut by a piece of metal. I just refuse to get sick.
I ain't got time for that 
Pisses my wife off when she gets sick once a year or so and I get sick like once every 5 or 6 years and it only last like half a day...
Now if I drink too much that is a different story..

Definately glad you are OK. Its good that you went to the doctor. I usually try to tough it out but with Menengitis, i would be using up precious time.
I had a Menengitis scare yesterday. I started having fever on wednesday night and didnt sleep at all. I wasnt puking but i had a really sore throat and couldnt move around because i was burning up but shivvering at the same time. I finally took my temperature and it read 102.4. I then had a buddy drive me to the doc. Supposedly its Strep throat on steroids. Im still recovering with some antibiotics. The doctor told me that if i had menengitis, i would have already been on my way out of this world given the period of time i was feeling ill.
This reminds me....I need to get a shot for that ****. My mom keeps hounding me about it.
