Default What have I done!!!!!

Today I sold my wheels for some extra mod money Guess I am going to go for the sleeper look for now. Besides the 285 50's on 20's are much to heavy. I want better times at the next GTG . Going back to stock aluminum for now. What would be a good tire for the stock 16" wheels. I was looking at the General Grabber UHP. Should I go with 255/55/16 27" tall or 255/65/16 29" tall. 4.10's should be going in as soon as I get a little coolant leak fixed. Would the 27" be to short on the streets with the 4.10's? What other tire would you recommend?

A 27" tall tire and 4.10s would be too much IMO. You are at stock height too right? If so, you definitly don't want a 27" tall tire. Like posted above, I have heard great things about the toyo proxes.

The UHPs are suspose to be good and are a hell of alot cheaper. I have really been considering going with those. Go with the 29" tires otherwise gas mileage is oging to suck and it would look goofy too.

I've got them on my truck on steel rims and they look sweet! I like having a lot of tire though. They are 29" tall too, damn close to stock.

Ok thanks everyone. I was kind of thinking the 29" tire would be better. And yes 02Blue it is stock height but I have been thinking about a 2/4.

1slow that is one of the reasons I was looking at them. They are a hell of a lot cheaper. I do like the toyos though.

**** I was bitten by that bug a long time ago lol. Well I ran better on the 12th than I did at the last GTG. So figure I need to run better in March and after that I will want to run better the next time and the next and the next and so on lol..................

Yeah i think you are gonna catch hell trying to get traction with 4.10s and a 27" tire. If you are gonna get those tires then you are gonna need some et streets!

I run 265/60r16 BFG Radial T/A's on Mickey Thompson wheels. Nice lightweight combo and the tire measures 28.5''
