the wife and i have came to conclusion, that we want a bigger house, so I have been thinking about turning my truck into a DD, instead of getting an 07cc z71 that I have thought about getting in a month or two... so I would have 1 less car note, plus less insurance for 2 vehicles instead of 3, so I would be saving quite a bit that would goes towards the new house instead of having a new truck... im getting weared out of the racing scene, its fun and all, but I really want a new house as well... good thing I wont be out of the racing scene for next winter, by then Im pretty sure I'll get me a beater again to go to work, once we are settled in the new house... so what Im really thinking of doing for now, is maybe go with a yank 3k, and putting a big case magnaflow to quite the exhaust for the DD friendly use... so what would you do?

 

Sounds like a good plan to me. A truck is nice but a house is nicer. Once you have a nicer house you can have any nice truck you want.

I agree, while having a truck is nice, it is not an investment. Right now is the is the time to buy a house since it's a buyer's market.

Glad I'm already in a house (and out-right own my truck). What's sweet about that is the property value has gone up, and I can refi for a cashout option to help with other bills & home improvement.

he wants to go with the yank, due to the fact that they are tighter and are street freindly, compared to the q.c, which are a bit loose
