Default UPS pulled up...

...a few minutes ago. Went outside, and waited for the driver to step out of the back of the truck. Greeted him with a hello... smiling EAR-to-EAR!

Could probably ablige (sp?) ya after the many cylce break-in. Not wanting to sound like a wuss, but with your tuned 6.0L, I think that's a no brainer that I'd lose with an untuned 5.3L. Had that sucker lock & unlock about 15 times within 20 minutes of driving. Locks up firmer than the PTC did before it started rattling. Will have to put HPT on the truck & log trans operation to see if there's anything qwirky. Hell... may even drive it to work a couple of days this week.

BTW, gotta start tearing into dad's Yukon XL to change the head gaskets. Found a leak this weekend. So, he left the XL in BR 'til Friday. Gotta be done by then.

Was thinking about this weekend, but since it's Good Friday, I remembered that I committed to a get-together on that day. We'll see. Might just drive truck to/from work later this week, log runs with HPT this weekend, and TnT sometime during the week next week. Need to work out tuning issues so I can move this brick down 1320' faster than 14.3s.

That's sweet, I'm guessing popping one of those into an older truck is no biggy and it will just run with a new part. But our newer models have to be told in the computers that you have popped something new in them?

What should that Yank do for ya? Just give you more HP or get your beast moving faster?

Have to be told? Says who?

FYI... I'm running a 5.3L/4L65E (modified) in my truck with the Yank SST3200. Didn't have to change anything in the PCM regarding a change from stock converter to a higher stall speed converter. Now, there are some trans DTCs that no longer reported nuisance trips (if that's what you mean). HPT took care of that in a jiffy. This ain't your average 350ci-powered brick.

Better QUALITY converter to help with making 4000lbs move quicker from a dig.
