Default Time to Git 'R Dun!

Parts are on the way for the trans rebuild... Got a drum, and am awaiting a set of BWHE clutches & gaskets.

While I was in the mood to spend money I don't have.... I ordered these:

...and TWO of these:

While I await that arrival, I'll be taking the tanks down & drafting a wiring schematic for pump power. This should eliminate my fueling issues from now on. Going back to the vac mod for the trans. Trans pressures set back to stock (were lower than stock.... not good either).

Hope to have a functional pickup truck by October 1st. Then I can concentrate on air conditioning... just in time for fall/winter.

Right after I posted that, the mail man showed up... with these!

Now... That came from California (Zip 92392), and I just ordered that at 4pm yesterday. That's EXPRESS mail. SUs should be here by Wednesday. Hopefully, I'll have some 3-4 clutches in by then. Going to try and drop both tanks tomorrow & next week. I'd take the bed off, but I really don't have the real estate to do so.

Well, since my Xbox360 died today & Grammatica lost the game for the Saints... I took the frustration out on these (see below):

Had 'em both on the ground in an hour's time!

I don't braaaaaaaag about it. Everyone just talks about how it is better to take the bed off, but this was rather easy. And yes, it will take a little longer to put it back considering the hoses slipped off easily since the tanks BOTH had more than half-a-tank's worth of fuel. Of course, it'll take longer to actually "fasten" the lines back.

Never a rush to put it back. Gotta make sure I drink enough beer to make it RIGHT!

Trying to get it ready for cooler weather. My alma mater's homecoming is a few weeks away. I've been tasked with bbq'n, which means I gotta haul my pit on campus for tailgating. Truck's gotta be done by the first week of October.
