Driver side sending unit showed up today. So I couldn't wait to put the Walbro in it's place.
Passenger side unit comes in tomorrow. Apparently, one shipped from Illinois & the other from Kansas. Seems like Illinois shipments are SLOW for some reason.

I'll be on the lookout!
*edit* Got it... guess I'm not coming to the plant tomorrow. Emergency rebuild of trans to take place this evening into Saturday morning!

After waiting ~8 minutes for this page to load...
I got the trans parts Friday, finished the rebuild early Saturday morning. Went to my son's football game Saturday @ noon, installed the trans later that day, and also installed both fuel tanks back in the truck. Hooked up the lines and wiring Sunday, and BAM... fuel leaks at the tanks & filter.
Just yanked the tanks back down yesterday, and ordered hardware for the part of the fuel lines that WASN'T upgraded during the original motor swap. Once they arrive (connectors arrive tomorrow & line arrives Thursday), I'll assemble everything to test before bolting in permanently. Using -AN to tube fittings for the sender connections, and hose ends to attach to those fittings. The selector valve (to switch between two tanks) may pose a problem b/c of a vent port designed into the valve. May just plug that though.

Just wanted to make sure you were ok. I remember reading about you falling off the roof a few weeks ago. With your luck I just wanted to make sure that truck didn't fall on you! Good luck with the leaks! Vince
