I'm late to the party but it sounds like you made the right decision. Besides the money if your project isn't fun anymore it's probably time to move on.
I've pretty much convinced myself that after the Radix and built transmission I'm done performance wise. After that I'll finish the color matching, replace my fucked up 18s with some overstock Centerline 20s and maybe drop it a little then just enjoy it.
Out of curiosity, what do you do for a living? 65-80 hour work weeks? Damn!
