i use 10w30 in ALL my gas vehicles straight 30 weight in my lawnmowers and rotella synthetic in our diesels

Nah the 5w 30 is fine.I gotta get around to changing mine.I have 6 quarts of the purple stuff sitting just waiting for me to stop being lazy lol.

The TBSS comes with Mobil 1 straight from the factory.

thats what i was thinking people have told me around here to move to a little bit thicker oil. now for the next question royalpurple or mobile one i know royal purple is expensive but i know its real good.

only rumors ive really heard and listened too was that once you go synthetic dont go back to regular oil... dont exactly know why... but to be safe i've never went back

I use a synthetic blend in my truck and full synthetic German blend Syntec in the camaro. Both seem to do just fine. Neither use oil between changes

x2 i've never had to add ne oil between changes and i'm running a 99 w/ 150,000+ miles. i use full synthetic mobile 1 but i've heard great things bout the royal purple.

I switched to synthetic @ 3k, now have 70k and no problems at all
