I know i havent been posting on here much lately, hasnt been much to post. Not that too many people care now that we have the fastest street truck in the 9's (thanks blacksheep). But i got me a new fastest motor 60ft and ET with the 4L80E , ive been playing with the combo for a while and think i got it right, i went 1.67 60ft (as fast as when i was spraying 175 out the hole on the th350) and 12.35@105 so im gonna try one more time and see if i can get a 10.99 out of it on spray

Damn, that's an awesome 60 bro! I don't think you'll have a problem hitting your 10s with this weather and a 60 like that. Good luck to ya!

 

Damn very good times man, you seem to loose it on the topend though, any reason for only 105 mph, any weight reduction done, short belt, what are all the mods done to the truck, NOS tune or N/A tune, sorry for all the ?'s lol, great run either way.

good job man it was nice to put facing back at the track.i don't think you will have to worry about the 10.99 but i have the same ? as v 8 mph is a little low you could be in the 11.9 on motor if the mph goes up a little.

with a 60'ft time and that mph he has, he should be close to 11.9 on motor..hell my truck did 109 mph, had just a 12.78 et..errrrr that eats me up..

 

What do you expect when you go out on street tires and try to spray?

 

well i have a few friends and my truck i went 12.33 at 108 with a 1.65 60' and their is a cc that put a 1.71 60' and ran a 12.60 at 109 and a reg cab short bed that ran 12.22 at 110 with a 1.75 60'

 

Im not real sure why im not getting any more mph than that, ive been curious about that myself. When the truck shifts into second it pulls to 5000 and then rpms drop back to 4500 like the converter is locking then it pulls on to 7200 and shifts into third, it only does it in second gear. Ive got it set up with HPtuners where the converter wont lock at all because i thought it might be causing the problem, im assuming thats why mph is off.... Any ideas
