I WAS PLANNING TO GO TO TEXAS BUT HUSTON AND FROM WHAT I WAS TOLD THAT THEY STILL DON'T HAVE THINGS TOGETHER @ SAN ANTONIO.
IF THEY GET THING TOGETHER I MAY GO IF IT HAS SOME GOOD PAY OUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WILL BE NPR.

How does San Antonio not have everything together?

Anyway, I'm going to San Antonio as well as the rest of the LS1Tech/Sponsor community. I think its unnecessary to travel across the country for a regular open track day at NPR that will not be affiliated with the event at all.

nobody said you needed to. i'm just not driving all the way to SAR to watch races. i'd gladly support ls1tech, pt.net, and the sponsors by going to the event if it was closer. i plan on goin to thunder shootout every year. but really its not feasible to drive to SAR just to spectate and/or bracket race

I didn't state that I was going to, or needed to. However, I did drive to Thunder last year just to specate and it was worth it to me. Being that your in LA makes it worth going to the track if you wanted to run. But, for those out of state considering to race at NPR, it would be just like racing at a normal open track day like the ones held at their local tracks.
